[ROM][LINARO] CyanogenMod 11 Modified Edition [09/09/14]

@XperianPro: Thanks for your great work. Can you please share your best / Ideal UV settings with which our phone works without any boot loops & Performance issues ?
It would be great to have a detailed Guide of UV/ OC settings.

i hope it wouldn't be too much to ask you for !. Thanks in advance.

I already undervolted your phone while you were sleeping, you can check your self if you don't believe me.

To get even better undervolt do following.

1. Set on performance governor.
2. Download "Linpack for Android"
3. Set max frequency (one frequency you want to test if voltages are stable)
4. Go to "Linpack for Android" and run bunch of Single-threaded tests (like 20-30 time in row)
5. Keep your eye on Norm res number,if its 5.68 congratz your correct voltage for that frequency is stable and you can undervolt by at least 5 mV if you get weird number like 3748294.573 then raise your frequency by atleast 5 mV.
6. Repeat this for all frequencys in range 1728-1998 MHz
7. Profit with much better performance (less overheating = smoother phone),better battery life and more durable phone
8. If your voltage table is stable,no reboots in period of at least 1 day, send me photo of your voltage table and PVS bin so I can integrate it at kernel level and spare other users of work

ROM : CM11 Official
speed bin : 1 PVS : 1
mpdecision : off
intelithermal : off
governor : performance

Linpack 40 times at each of the following frequencies :

1728 | 1000mv -50 did not test any lower (read edit)
1836 | 1050mv -50 did not test any lower (read edit)
1890 | 1070mv -50 did not test any lower (read edit)
1944 | 1135mv -25 crashed at -50
1998 | 1165mv -25 crashed at -50

I'll make more tests tomorrow.
!EDIT! Passed the linpack test with above settings, crashed with normal usage and default kernel settings at 1728 and 1836 (currently unknown for the rest frequencies) at -50mv.Now using at 1836 and -25mv, no problem so far.Maybe low battery is a factor for this (10%), so DON'T set at boot! Needs a lot testing.

I already did PVS 1 because I have it,also don't use 1836 below 1090/1100,its not stable and 1998 needs at least mV 1190.

Tryed your lastest rom.. good, but with 2.3ghz kernel i can boot up only 1/5.. back yo 19/08 kernel..

Try -25mv in all the above frequencies except 1998, my phone is stable so far and passed above test plus antutu 5.For 1998 i got hard reset at -25 while running antutu, at -20 passed but not sure it's stable.

Its no go,I already tryed it and phone has random reboots but your phone can be a bit different than mine.

No matter anyway, very small difference. The big difference made by your undervolted kernel, once again thanx a lot!

Hi all, My PVS is 2, Everyone is trying to figure out a working voltage table from highest frequency so i decided to come from 384mhz, and I did till 918mhz, everything is stable from 1.5 days, ran all sorts of tests
@XperianPro : If you want you can put my table into main kernel, here are the values
384-725 (This can go more I think, but your kernel has 725 as min, can you minimize it more may be till 700?)
486-750
594-800
702-800
810-812
918-825

I will try to complete remaining Mhz values, meanwhile if someone got PVS 2 can use my values and test from Highest to lowest and share here

I can lower voltage min limit but its set by Qualcomm like that for a reason.

I will put your voltage table into kernel as soon you finish it so there won't be a bunch of useless kernels.

Don't know if the question has been asked already... but this won't work with AOSP I suppose? hehe
(I mean the kernel of course... it's CM only?)

Halo? Yes, but if you wanna integrate it in your roms, maybe is better to port liquid smooth that have it already (cm base)

Liquidsmooth is AOSP based,I checked their git it looks that it is O3 compatible and since this kernel is already build with Sabermod toolchain 4.10 I think everything should go smooth.

Ps, I'm running your lastest build with -50 to all undervolt, dual core mode (intelliplug) 384-2ghz, stable from about 3 days. With no termal throttling!
