Mi Pad Capacitive Buttons

I bought a new Mi pad(64GB) yesterday. I had a tab-s before this.
I think this tablet`s Navigation buttons is not action Quickly and need to hold finger on it. Is this reasonable?
MIUI Version 6.3.1.0(KXFCNBL)

I have the same issue, two weeks ago I received two MiPads *64GB, one in green and one in yellow. The green one have no issues at all, the capacitive buttons are very responsive just as my mi3, but the yellow one, I have to keep my finger until it is recognized... I'm dissapointed about the QA apply to the MiPads.

I have not find any solution yet ... (I don't want to return it yet).

Have you tried updating it to the latest rom?

If you upgrade to the latest ROM and there's a issue, my guess would be you're gonna need to change the tablet at some point.
