If your missing the apk you could take your rom that you downloaded and copy it to another folder extract it then place the the calendar apk on your sd card, then copy/move it to your system/app folder with a file manager that give you access to the system file like root explorer ect.. then...

Not sure if this is allowed so mods please feel free to remove it and scold me .. but there is a beta version running MIUI 7.13 that is very stable not to say it doesn't have a few bugs, a few cosmetic things, some of the s-pen apps still need to be ported and there is no modded kernel for it...

hmm, if you had/have a backup you could have done a factory reset (optional) but you could have gone into cwm and done a restore of system, cache,Kernel or data (in your case)

does your phone reboot ok, and sorry for the headache..re-download the rom you may have gotten a bad one..

This is true but I just offered a suggestion as I do the same thing every week but at least it eliminates 85% of the headaches caused by not properly flashing the rom (though it may work for some just wiping the cache/divak as each phone is different) the other 12% are the know issues with...

Give this a try,, wipe the cache wipe divak then go to mounts and storage- format system factory reset then install you rom..

The first time I tried it it was happening with the the stock keyboard the Samsung one, but I did as SilverMist suggested and cleared up.

No I'm one version behind..but I know it's there as I just extracted the new version and the file is present so it sounds like you may have a bad install..

Not sure how you have your phone set up..but up should have a program in your apps called Permission Manager open it up and you see this..(look at pic) and turn on the root permission..if your missing this apt you may have a bad download.. it's not in your settings it's an application..it should...

Hmm..@ op did you go into the permission manager and turn on the the root permission switch..

it's not an led per say it's the 2 lights by your home button.. (we might need to take this to the SG2 forum as it really isn't a bug)

Not sure if the kernel does support it as it's a stock one maybe mark or someone could answer that..but you could try siyah's new kernel..

as the SG2 has per say no led notification, it won't be the traditional led..you need a kernel first that supports the led function and the a program called BLN to set it up, once if done then your 2 keys at the bottom should flash when a message or call is missed but not a 100% sure if it works...
