OK, feel a bit silly...I thought I'd do something I've not had to do in years - check an md5. And guess what, didn't match so it WAS a bad download stopping me using MIUI. All up and running now, altho there's a lot to get used to having been on CM 10.1 for so long! Looking forward to v5 :)

So no one can shed any light onto why I can't run this at all if I flash it using the 'proper' method? Pretty sure SystemUI crashing on first boot isn't normal...and this was with two FULL wipes before flashing the ROM

I did, twice for good measure! And again once the ROM was flashed before the first boot I take it the offset error when flashing doesn't matter?

Unfortunately I can't use this at all. Flashing just the ROM, in it's original form, leads to SystemUI FCing on first boot (navigation and status bars crash) so i can't even use the phone. Shame as I was looking forward to this. It could be a bad download but, for now, I need the phone working...

Any reason why you can't combine the 2 ZIPs and flash once? Seems strange as other ROMs are fine but this isn't

Probably down to how I make the ROM files before flashing. I prefer to combine the 2 files into one to save on rebooting (works fine for CM). I'll give that a go, thought this ROM would behave the same way (and I'm not a n00b, altho I hardly ever post on here so it's an easy mistake to make ;) )...

Maguro link not working, gives 404 error

It's very easy, actually. Go into the contact you want to sync, press the menu button, go to Options>Link and choose the Facebook contact. Simples! It means you have to do this for every contact but at least it's done without any 3rd party apps
