AdAway app stopped blocking adds :-(
Does anybody has an idea of what happened?

Im a Mi2s owner.

Its the third weekly release (since the 5.6.11 version) Adaway ain't blocking a thing.


The adds are soooo annoying, Adaway is such a big asset for me as an android advanced user, untill the June 11th release.

Any ideas of what has changed in Host file structure/hierarchy?

Adaway guys said the didn't do any changes...

You have just to reapply every update.

On my phone I never found the requested kenji on the account.xiaomi site (in Chinese or english)
On PC I can access but from phone when I validate the QR code scanner is activated but I have no QR code to read??

I've bought a new Xiaomi Redmi 2 for a friend from Aliexpress.
It's a HM2014112 version
After long research i've successfully installed the fastboot rom of HM2014811
The problem is that this redmi 2 need the "NON-HLOS.bin" from the HM2014813 rom for network
(it's a HM2014811 (1gb ram, 8gb rom) with bands of HM2014813)

Now the problem is that i have done this test on the fastboot (chinese and english) rom only.... and now i need french on this phone !

Can you please pack the "xiaomi.eu_multi_HM2014811_V6.5.2.0.KHJCNCD_v6-4.4.zip" with the "NON-HLOS.bin" from HM2014813 for me ?
Or is it possible to have a rom for my HM2014112 with weekly update ?

PS: 2014112 is write under my battery
PPS: i've done some check and yes, it's a true xiaomi device, not a fake

thanks for this new update. on redmi note 2 4g all working well, so far.

except: what is this stupid mdnsd process, that "eats up" all the battery? it´s not always there, and i don´t know who or what it starts, but when it´s active, the battery just drains.....

Thanks but its the same.
I used Total Commander with root access, so it´s not a root problem. I tested your suggestion and the result is the same.
Probably a file permission issue I can´t solve.

Delete miui folder on SD card. Then wipe dalvik cache and cache
Then reboot

Dalvik has completely replaced by ART since Android 5.0 so, it does not.

I should have stated I am talking about Kitkat versions. Does mirecovery wipe cache/all delete the dalvik cache as well?
