Can someone help me decide which version?
I saw something about a keylogger in .us?
What are the differences? (on Evo 4G)
    thanks!

I've translated the ROM longer and we're the only site who actually asked permission to make a web site for MIUI. No other site even asked, they just followed on from what we started here and with miui-dev.com.

We focus on removal of 100% chinese, we are the only site supporting Native OTA without extra hacking needed. We also providing good user support here, our admins are all active developers in themes or android or web development so we have knowledge of a lot of technical issues and know how to support users in a professional environment. :)

It really comes down to a matter of personal preference. There's really only some subtle differences between the two. As for the EVO 4G, this is a port that someone builds using a AOSP base. It is not built from MIUI.com and then translated like a lot of them. Your best bet is to try both out and see which you prefer in this case.

As for the keylogger fiasco, you should look into that a bit more. It was a complete misunderstanding and incorrect interpretation of code. Actually it wasn't even an interpretation of code it was looking at some class names and some bad assumptions.

You may want to go check out the XDA forums. Both builds are on there and from what I can see one has hardware acceleration and the other does not.

Agree completely, to each his own. Different devs working on the ports, different bugs, different changes. I personally have had better luck with MIUI.us builds, and better luck with support from them on forums and irc. As far as the evo is concerned, the miui.us one has hardware acceleration, which more me is what makes my choice easier. But try them both and make your own decision.

As far as what MarkHUK said about removal of chinese, the admins, techinical support, the same goes for miui.us also, and like i said before, i had better luck with the miui.us team.

Each to their own but there is history of direct copying and taking of our work over there. Just saying... my opinion is as valid as yours is.

I've found that the miui android build is performs better and retains better app compatibility. The current miui.us build has issues with docs to go.

    i'm new here

first of all the rom is amazing

on top of everything compatible with android (mostly)

    thanks for the hard work

so I flashed 2.7.27 over the eternity rom

wiped and installed from rom mgr

    then also flashed Mason-EI-0.1.5-RC5-sbc-supersonic-signed.zip

only played with it today and all is gold

except ditto on the wifi issue ( not to be redundant )

netflix seems to play with black screen?

and occasionally, coming ot of standby I get black screen

I pull the battery and it reboots fine.

thanks again on the awesome rom.
