I would like to take the time to thank Mark at MIUI Android for allowing me to post my modified roms here for your benefits and enjoyment.

2.9.11 - Brand New Aroma Options- Based on MIUI China 2.9.7

I've went back to the drawing board and decided to redesign the aroma options and layouts. Instead of installing all the Samsung Apps (Bloatware as some call it) I have broken down the options and allowed you to choose what if any you want installed.

I've also decided to make all my modifications available via Aroma, and broken down what ones again if any you install.

Along with all this there is now additional 3rd party apps to choose from including facebook and twitter.

Options to backup EFS folders, and what is wiped during install, is now available.

The great thing with including them all within Aroma is that on flashing the multi lang package it will not remove any of the modifications!

    2.9.11 Update:

Updated MIUI base to 2.9.7 (Language Pack Included)
    Updated Kernels to latest versions
Corrected issues within Aroma causing Status 7 error
    Removed Recovery type from Aroma
    Corrected Kernel Selection Errors
Removed option to choose theme via Aroma (Never worked)
Cleaned up install options and file size
    Additional tweaks to UI
Removed init.d folder from etc on base rom (Mods will add this folder back!)
    Other tweaks and fix ups.

Issue to be resolved in regards to TWiz launchers not being installed will be hopefully fixed for Fridays release.

    So what's now included:

    * Aroma Now Updated to Latest Version
    * Option to Wipe Phone during installation
    * Option to backup EFS information
    * Option to choose kernel type
    * Option to choose what modem type

My phone does not boot with this rom. I left all choices to default.
Or does it take really long to boot the first time?

Its English / Chinese but it has almost every language region codes in it. So for an example: Im from Sweden so i choose Swedish after that will all google apps (and stock samsung apps / some menu columns) be in Swedish!

But the whole framework is in English or Chinese!
Okay. have you tried to flash once again? If that won't help (if you have a backup of all your apps/data) you can try to do a full wipe before flashing it once again. If you dont have any backup you can try to flash a older MIUI and then do it all over.

Ive flashed the new MIUI on my SG3, excellent so far with a few hicks, camera seems to be a bit off centre when in 8mp mode, on the about phone, ext sd card doesnt show up it shows internal memory and then it says sd card but it is exactly the same as internal memeory, I have 64gb micro sdxc, the settings for the lockscreen seem to not work i.e. no samsung galaxy s3 lockscreen, i enable it, add the ripple effect, shortcuts but still stays the same as miui lockscreen ( I posted this on the other miui rom for gs3 but this is where it is meant to be because i got the galnet version)

the other big issue is that Im not able to connect it with samsung kies at all. When I connect my phone to the computer and when it downloads the drivers, it fails

The installation worked after a complete wipe.
The first problem I have is the 3g network connection. I can't get that to work.
Anyone else experiencing this as well?

Kies will fail as it looks for the Samsung Phone and Call applications, I'll work on a solution though. Also the SD issue is an issue which China will have to resolve, I will pass this across, and most likely Mark will also, so MIUI China will be notified.

In relation to the Lockscreen, Samsung Framework has always been funny in the way in which it implements the lockscreen, it's the same issue when installing Custom lockscreen managers from the market, for some reason on reboot it reverts back to the Samsung default, or Strive on memory? I've been looking into this for ages, but can't seem to find the reason. Hopefully one day..!!!

As for the lockscreen FC issue with Music player, I bet this happens when you are using the Samsung Default player, I will have to include an option to either install the Samsung one or the MIUI one to prevent this from happening.

Any more issue please let me know, and I will work on resolving them. Also got to look into the update-script and remove the requirements for verifying the product... this seems to be a major issue with new installs. (Simple fix to be honest).

Once again thanks to MIUI Android for having me around, and if I can work on the boards to help others with other handsets, I will do so..!

    Regards,
    Mat.

Lockscreen music reboot problem is not Samsung Music player problem. It's also in Stock Miui. This problem was always been in Miui since v4. You did managed to solve this problem on SGS1 in back old days.
