In twrp log I see that /cust partition has 56MB left, it could be this the problem?

Check options in app, try to see if there is option for syncing contacts and disable for now.

To manually remove the protection from a kernel you have to:
- Extract boot.img from a rom/device
- Unpack it, with this tool for example -> mkbootimg_tools
- Search the fstab file (fstab.qcom for example) and remove the "verify" mention and replace all "forceencrypt" mentions by "encryptable"
- Repack it and flash it

Do you have mi max 32gb? Which twrp did you use? No problems during installation?

After installing twrp, you do a format data by twrp?
If you came from previously weekly, only cache and dalvik.
If you came from other rom after flash twrp reboot in to recovery through fastboot and wipe all except sd internal or use an OTG USB for rom.
Format system too? Please could you tell me which steps did you do after first installation of twrp?
I mean before install rom script, which partition did you format after installing twrp first time?

I instaled from usb otg. After flash twrp through fastboot reboot into recovery through fastboot too and wipe data cache and dalvik and sd internal too.
Currently have 7.5.1.0 on my Redmi 3 Pro. How do I upgrade to 6.10.20 without having to wipe and start from factory reset.

hey guys, i've bought a brand new redmi Pro, but it came with a sh*t software and almost all in chinese, can't install playstore nor anything tbh.
Despite being a newbie, I've tried to install the MIUIv8 because it comes with the language that I need and pretty decent features, the problem is that even though i've followed a couple guides i cannot get it to work, mainly i cannot get the phone to fastboot mode, i've seen videos and all but i just can't put it, i've pressed the volume- and power and just turn on like normal.
Other thing is at the flash part it talks about a file with a ".tgz" extension, but in the downloaded ROMs i didn't fint it.
Guys I've just spent +200 bucks in this, I would appreciate if you could help me out.
