Easy there, I didn't post any issue with the rom. Seems like I'm just not up to date with these twrp builds :) For me MI Video, Music, MiDrop and other apps are bloat, I don't need them and I don't want to see them in app drawer.

That explains the Hybrid tag on renoir. Really looking foreward to this! I can't root my phone because of a banking app. unlocking bootloader is ok though. Removing bloatware with pm uninstall is fine for me. Blocking ads over vpn and pihole as well. But I can't update my phone. Twrp won't work...

I'm still very happy with my mix 3 too. Impressed with battery life, better than you'd expect from a 3200mah battery. Very nice display, quick wireless charging, shoots beautiful photos. But my screen already has some light scratches, most likely because of those jeans-buttons on my pockets...

My screens looks the same with this utility but you won't notice any brightness differences in daily (and nightly) use... The only thing I notice is some motion blur.

I found a way to remap the AI button and use it for whatever came to my mind. You will need at least magisk to remap the key, tasker and autoinput if you want to push it further. I will link to my xda-post, so I don't have to write and edit the post twice...

Working good on mix3. Still some problems with apps losing their permissions (like whatspp losing storage permission) As I've seen on *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* Mod the zoom-in in portrait mode seems to be intentional. I'd really like to see two features, I don't know how hard this would be to mod: - I cant remap...

Mi Mix 3: If I change to portrait mode on back camera, it switches to the telephoto cam (zooms in). Is this a bug or normal behaviour? On pocophone the camera does not switch..? Edit: home screen grid size fixed now, thank you!

Try 17.3, on mi mix 3 with pie magisk v18 won't work either but 17.3 is working.

Did you already exclude nova launcher from miui battery saver (no restriction) ? And enable autostart?
