Dear MIUI team, this bug is still present in the current build (3.9.6). Arco has fixed this issue on CM10 (and up) ROMs. I think this fix would work for MIUI as well, since the base is most likely the same. The fix can be found here...

He guys, just updated from 3.6.7 to 3.6.21. Unfortunately there still is a video glitch on the HTC Sensation (pyramid) build. I guess you need to apply the O_SYNC fix that Acro has found. It worked for other JB based ROMs. I think the ROM would be perfect if this was fixed! You guys rock...

He guys, used MIUI before on my GSII, now using it on the HTC Sensation. However, the pyramid version has a video playback issue! Other kernels didn't resolve this unfortunately. There are glitches in all forms of video. CyanogenMod had the same issue and appearantly a dev named Arco fixed it...
