Managed to dirty flash it on lavender (doesn't work with a clean flash, provision error on Google config, right before jumping to the mi cloud settings) but some apps like Facebook, linkdin now exhibit erroneous behaviour, like they don't load at all. Maybe some error with the Android webview...

Theres a bug on my lavender, after flashing (everything works fine here, clean flash), I can't finish the google device configuration for the 1st time, it stops at the last step, whether I add a google account or not.

I'm on the same phone (original Chinese version) and doesn't happen to me. Did you try to clean your Dalvik cache? If the problem persists try to perform a clean install with data clear as last resort.

Funny you mention that because the GPS was also the major key for me to flash this. So far so good, I can get reliable GPS fix now!

Hi there, I don't know about that since I did this on Windows, but as it's possible to do this with a Linux system, I'd say you won't have problems doing this on a MacBook. You will need the drivers though, and my knowledge doesn't let me help you in that area.
