The mi flash was the OEM the ROM was OEM. It has 4.4.4 on it.

volume up + power now = black screen with mi logo for 10 +minutes and nothing else.

what should i do after that ?

it said completed but when it boots to recovery it is still the mi recovery not twrp.

Will having the Mi PC Suite on the PC effect the outcome? I uninstalled mi pc suite just in case.

I follow the instructions step by step. The adb installation in the command prompt completed as in the video. But, for some reason when I go to recovery it is still MI-Recovery 2.0.1 it is not the TWRP recovery. I am not sure what to do next???
