Not sure what happened, but Mi account setup is passed now. The tablet appears to be working again...will try installing some apps and see if google play will remain to work. CatalinJC, thank you very much for your help (and patience :))

Think I found the issue....the downloaded MIUI file was apparently corrupt, as version 7.2.25 I could copy as an .zip file Only issue I now have is that I cannot setup the device as the MI-account sign in is giving an access denied error. Also removed the device from find my device, but still no...

Tried copying another file to another directory...that worked seems that it is blocking copying .zip files renamed into .txt was able to copy renamed into .zip this worked tried to install zip (version 7.6.8v8) MiPad 3 but get the error ZIP Signature verification failed now downloading...

I think I have (installed USB drivers and generic ADB driver), installed them. See in device manager "Androids ADB recovery interface" but no specific ADB device. just to be sure, where can I find the latest ADB drivers?

Hi Guys, Thanks, tried that, and am getting into TWRP. Issue is now that somehow I cannot load an image on the device. Also tried using ADB. But ADB is not recognizing any device. Installed the google software and drivers on my pc (win10), still no luck. When I activate sideload/ADB in TWRP...
