I think you should wipe dalvik, cache every times install new ROM. Some case, we received advice to wipe 4 item dalvik, cache, system and data. -

I think that we should be full wipe after upgrade ROM. App data and main screen layout, you can use Mi account to backup. After upgrade ROM you just need restore, very easy. -
