Leon, today I switched to T-Mobile. I can confirm 4G is now working for both SIM1 and SIM2. It seems to be a Vodafone sim-card issue with MIUI8.

Hi Leon, I've the same experience only running miui 8. No 4G on SIM1. When running miui 7 (or other non-miui roms) everything works just fine. Do you also have Vodafone? I'm switching to T-Mobile in a few days. (Because of their better 4G coverage for the Mi5 in The Netherlands) I'll let you...
