Same for me. Homepage says latest version is 1.9.16, but Updater tells me that 1.9.9 is new, and want to download it (80mb). (Good that OTA finally "works" though :P)

I've got all the apps (except Calendar) deleted for a week now without any problems, just to let you know :) (Firewall, MiTalk, Notes, Radio, Voice Dialer, Music, the standard Launcher and Android keyboard)

thanks for replies. i deleted some apps with rootexplorer an hour ago. so far all works fine. i made a zip-backup to SD-card before i deleted them if something will go wrong :) i guess i will have to delete them again after next update :P

Anyone know what MIUI system-apps that are safe to delete with RootExplorer? I've tried to google this for a while but i dont find anything other than the standard stock android-apps. I was thinking about removing: Calendar, Firewall, MiTalk, Notes, Radio, Voice Dialer, Music, the standard...
