Battery Stuck At -2%

Hello, I just bought a xiaomi redmi note 3 and it came with the battery at - 2%.i charged it and discharged it, but the battery is still at - 2. The Phone is New.

What can I do?

What rom is on your devices?

settings - about phone - MIUI Version.

Possibility you have vendor rom and would need to flash an official rom in EDL mode.

The rom that it came with it ,its miui 7.1 or something like this.
If i change the rom, that wouldn't avoid my warranty?

Please post the actual details from

settings - about phone - MIUI Version.

Flashing an official rom, shouldn't void your warranty but could depend on where you purchased it.
Having a Vendor rom, might contain adware and spyware on the device.

MIUI Global 7.1 | STABLE 7.1.8.0 (LHOMICL) . There is an update available via OTA , but i cant make it because of the battery.

I found a way to resolve this. I followed the steps from the <[Tools, Tips & Tutorials] [MIUI DEVICE TEAM] Flash (Unbrick) Redmi Note 3(SD) with Locked Bootloader>. Unfortunately I can't post the link but I can tell you that it's from the English Xiaomi Forum, and flashed "Version: V7.3.7.0.LHOMIDD (MIUI7)". I can confirm that it works perfectly since yesterday.

For Snapdragon edition, try updating to MIUI 7.3 Stable 7.3.7.0(LHOMIDD)
