Google Assistant Isn't Working

Hi,
I am currently using a Xiaomi Redmi PRO (64GB) with as rom:
MIUI 8.3 by xiaomi.eu
7.5.25 Beta
I am trying to configure google assistant on it, but it's not working.
When I hold the home button, the animation appears, but the window doesn't pop up.
Can someone help me?
