Update Miui Version

Hello I have miui 8.2 by xiaomi.ei 6.12.8 | Beta

Can I update this version without losing my data? Thank you

Backup with twrp and try to update. If not successful, restore the backup. Anyway, that's quite a big leap and I wouldn't be surprised if issues do show up.

Stable was updated from 8.2 to 8.5 so it shouldn't be a problem.

I had no problem upgrading from 8.2.x to 8.5.x.
Just wipe cache+dalvik after flashing with TWRP.
