Miui 7 To Miui 9

Hello guys, I've recently flashed latest global stable into my Mi5 to get it working since my cable disconnected when updating.
I've unlocked bootloader yet again.
Flashed 7.2.13.0 then 6.11.10.
Then I flashed the 3.2.0-3 twrp so I can install android 7.0
Then I flashed the latest stable MIUI 9.2.1.0.
The issue is that the phone has been siting in the MI/android booting animation for nearly 30m and the phone is hot.
What did I do wrong ?
What should I do to get the latest MIUI on my MI5 ?
Thanks for helping and sorry if this is answered somewhere else, because I've searched but found nothing.

Well I thought I couldn't wipe but decided to give it a shot and that fixed the issue.
Wiped data/system/dalvik/cache and flashed again.
Works perfectly.
