It's bricked as in the screen won't even turn on now to get into fast boot, nor does the charging icon come up. I have backups of every install for the past month, but I have no way to get into fastboot now.

Crap. This version just bricked my 5X. Went through the TWRP install process, it encountered errors and refused to finish. Now I cannot turn the device on at all. All I am getting is a black screen. I don't suppose anyone knows a way to 'unbrick' the device?
