Just updated my Mi9 lite. I dirty updated. Everything went without any problem. Security patch has been updated to the 1st of October. I don't notice other changes, perhaps because the phone worked already very well. Many thanks to the developers!

Thank you for your suggestion but today I decided to switch to the stable version because Xiaomi will soon stop to release weekly versions for our model. The switch went without problems and the stable version is absolutely perfect for my needs.

With a 3rd party launcher it still doesn't work (it works for some hours and then stops working again). With the last alfa version of Miui launcher people say that it works correctly. From Mi9lite

For the most part it works but for some apps you have to deactivate dark mode in the settings. Many of these are third party applications... We are waiting that Xiaomi resolves this problem...

I don't use every function offered by the rom. I can speak about what I use daily: I read news, ebooks, I watch some video, use banking app, my phone is rooted, battery consumption is awesome (with some settings adjustments) I can't speak about gesture (for example) because I don't use them...

Yes it passes, but don't forget to use the hide functions of magisk (hide applications and hide magisk itself changing its name).

You can verify with the function of magisk but you can also download Safetynet test from Play store. (There are other test app in Play store)

In my case, I have a Pyxis, the "recents applications" bug is for the most part resolved. It wasn't not a very big bug for me but a quite boring one.
