I came up with the same problem ...but on the right side we have bluetooth and alarm clock icon :D ...so there is not much space as well .. my advice is to disable the carrier logo/text in settings.

please try to edit your /system/build.prop file. delete all lines after the "###sMiUI Changes"-line. Please tell me if that fixes your problem. I checked your ROM and that is not possible, I even flashed it on my Mi4 and it worked without problems. Please check again if you install the...

Unfortunately not .. I dont change anything with the music player. Its just like the one from xioami.eu :/ Can you guys test the reboot menu mod ? Does it work for you when you reboot to recovery ? As for my Mi4 its working just fine.

Sounds like your wiped data after you installed sMiUI. When wiping data always do it BEFORE flashing the ROM !
