If your device didn't have it in any point of time I don't think there is a way to get it back as it was never there in the first place

You don't need TWRP for the ROM to function properly. It doesn't cause any problems. It may be a slight inconvenience for you as you will have to have a computer near you to perform an update via Fastboot.

Did you try doing a clean install without restoring backups?

Just flashed it and everything works like it should. Also the performance of the Control Center is the same as with the white tint so I guess you were right.

What software do you use to look through the ROM? I would like to help you with finding a solution to the lock animation problem.
