I confirmed that on Mi 10T with Root, Google Pay works fine.

I am using @adriantc's Magisk module with the latest weekly beta – 21.9.22 and works fine! I just need to flash the "Magisk_v23.0.zip" in TWRP again and the module is still in the Magisk.

In which case is the new universal workaround by you?

I upgraded to the latest weekly beta – 21.9.15 without problem with Magisk. I still use the old way with Fix_CTS_SafetyNet_v1.0-Magisk.zip by @Poney70

I am with Mi 10T and @KL7000F uses Poco F3. From both of us is confirmed that it works fine, but we are rooted. @adriantc, I am waiting to receive your PayPal to give you a beer for the good job you have done!

Happy Monkey by aleks22mix. Unfortunately, I was mistaken! I downgraded to 21.8.4 because of the problem with recent apps. :/

@ibart123, I installed font from Themes, and I found that my problem was gone., no more brings me to system launcher. Try it. It was a short-term victory. The problem reappeared.

This does not work for me. It keeps going back to the system launcher.

Unfortunately, I can not offer another option.
