I installed this and ran the ADB commands in post number 2. The device freezes on occasion and apps like aliexpress don't work properly. I will return to the last known stable rom for now. (Xiaomi 14 Pro)

Finally managed to get the windows_fastboot_update_rom to start again but it stopped again (no error message). Finally, I decided to try windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format and this worked first time without any problems. I have to install apps again but that's ok.

Tried 2 different usb cables and six usb ports. same error.

After running windows_fastboot_update_rom there was a failure. I think the phone is bricked. Xiaomi 14 Pro.

Just wanted to thank the devs for the work they've been doing.

As with other forum members I had to use NCUNLOCK to unlock my bootloader.

I think Gpay takes a close look at the bootloader. Maybe I'm wrong.

Maybe I'm wrong but if your device has an unlocked bootloader then Gpay may not work.
