Sorry if I sound dumb, than I can just do the OTA to go from A11 MIUI12 to A12 MIUI 13 instead of running the fastboot scripts, correct?

That means that: 1) I can do the update from Android 11 MIUI 12 to Android 12 MIUI 13 without wiping data? 2) If I go through the OTA I'll get Android 11 MIUI 13? Thanks!
