Yes, I am on a rooted XM 12 Pro. The crashes seem to be related to launcher mods by Customiuizer and MiuihomeR. I will try the method you posted.

My system launcher keeps soft restarting over and over again. Does anybody else have this issue?

It's not the same, use both

Use Google backups, backup in Xiaomi cloud, backup app data in settings, copy everything to a PC. There might be a root backup tool which backups everything, but I am not aware of any

Either flash msgisk.zip in twrp or patch boot.img in msgisk app and flash manually

Installed the new A13 version for XM12Pro and everything is super smooth now. There's a small bug here and there but nothing major

Have you checked all related settings?

You cannot install a fastboot Rom without a pc (or a device which can execute fastboot commands)

If there is a working A13 TWRP for your device, yes. You could also extract the boot.img from the fastboot zip and patch it in the msgisk app and flash via fastboot

Update Rom if you do an update, first install with format data if it's a first install

But it could download all the AI content once and then do all the AI stuff locally, so the identification of the image content wouldn't need to download the same content every time. But yes, I think there is no solution until xiaomi fixes it
