try swiftbackup... and copy this folder to your pc... before a12 i used Titanium Backup and worked like a charme but since a12 it didnt worked for me so switched to swift

for everybody who has storage issues... for me the solution was: flash latest a11 build, set up the whole phone, then dirty flash latest a12 fastboot build. So no format data and restoring backup

i also tried a11 and dirty update..... no issues.. thanx

and what about theme store, also good? and laggy apps?

strange thing is that storage issues on a12, it doesnt seem to have impact on all devices for example. not for all 11 ultra and 11 pro users... my 11 pro have this issue, but i see other 11 pro users not having this issue... Can there be said something about this or pure random?

you can use update. But changing android versions is advisable to do clean flash, So backup your stuff and copy to pc. Do not restore xiaomi backup from a11 to a12. There will be issues with lag and etc..

@ingbrzy i saw a 21.11.11 update for 11 pro/ultra... what was fixed?

when you are in fastboot, in cmd: fastboot devices when drivers are correct you get left a number If not, drivers not correct

you can choose cancel and then format data, (phone empty) but encryption is gone

strange is.... build in xiaomi email app can dl attachment :emoji_confused:

i booted to fastboot and ran : windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format what did you do in details, because you dont have issues

you did dirty flash from weekly a11 or made same as me, used : windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format

i did full wipe, so all is reset

i did full wipe, no restore off xiaomi cloud or google cloud. give all rights to storage to gmail and still storage error. i am out off ideas now

i believe you can dirt flash due to same android version.. but when you issues you can try to make fresh install, to see if problems are gone then( make cloud backup ? )

i did updated to a12 using fastboot by choosing update bat file.. storage issues.. then i did format data, with same issues ( have to say i didnt know if i restored cloud backup :confused:)

i gave both full access, allways. i only got this on a12 weeklies.. not on the a11, tried now the latest stable 12.5.20 and also no problem. On the stable and weeklies on a11 i didnt change permissions.. now on 12.5.20.0 it has as permission : ask and it is working. on a12 this weekly i even...

you misunderstood... i am not talking about notification, i am talking about error when click on a attachment.. download error. also the same on outlook app. so probably not gmail related

you dont have issues like me on email apps?
