Have you tried to install the new rom again? When does it start to happen? I have Mi5s and I never had a problem with Gps and I have the 7.10.19 weekly .eu rom.
No problem for me as well on 7.8.31. If it was a bug it should affect all Mi5s with 7.8.31, not only you Hasyiral. Probably something went wrong with the update.
Agree. The splitting in 2 different modes (Silent and new DND) doesn't make sense to me. I was used to have DND during the night but now it doesn't allow you listening media.
1) You have to allow those apps to remain open and working blocking them in the multitasking panel. Otherwise the system close or freeze the apps shortly after you go in standby.
2) If it would be a bug it would affect a lot of people not only you. Much better thinking if you are doing something...
Have you tried Gpstest app? Give it a chance. Maybe is a matter of refresh the AGPS data. Other option you didn't make a clean installation of new Android version, with all wipes I mean.
I agree with you. The Miui "stable" are not so stable. I had a Honor 6 and I can say that Huawei is slower with Emui updates than Xiaomi but when they come out are really stable, no problem at all.
No, I don't think so, weekly and Stable are 2 different developing rom ways, as far as I know you have to full wipe yor phone changing from one to another.
I had given a chance to 8.2.1 but the app Gravity screen wasn't working properly. I checked permits and whatsoever but no joy. so I went back to the former stable one. There wasn't any significant upgrade by the way.
Ciao Marcello, in this forum you should write in English, if any of us write in his own language it comes up a big mess.
P.S.: ma hai letto gli altri thread precedenti a proposito??
It is unreal the mess created by Xiaomi with this disgraceful upgrade. This is huge black spot on their reputation which they don't need as their phone selling in China is sharply decreased in 2016.
