The iPhone supports different bands than the 14U so that doesn't tell you anything about where your phone is actually in range of a supported band

I have "Prefer 5G" OR "Prefer LTE" but not NR/TE option. VOWIFI turns on if I have airplane mode on. My issue isnt with "preferred network type" (ie. "Prefer 5G"), it's with "Network preferences" missing so I can't select "Prefer vowifi"

I have all that enabled. VoWIFI works. The issue is that it is not "preferred" because I lack the option "Network Preferences: prefer wifi" and thus vowifi only works when I turn on airplane mode (and wifi)

Looking at processes, I see that "system_server" is constantly using 25-50% cpu or more. Looking at the log for that PID, I see lots of events for MiuiNetworkPolicy show showing the network bandwidth. Also info about the light sensor. Nothing looking too abnormal.
