I had to go back to 9.12.27 on my raphael because of the constant reboots. Uninstalling Gboard didn't help, and the crash of the round time selector isn't connected to Gboard (nor are other seemingly random) reboots.

The main problem, at least in my hands, is that I cannot connect my EU hub to the Chinese server. I would not mind it, if it helped to get the stuff working, but the hub just isn't recognised in the Mi home app when I am logged in to the Chinese server.

I have the same problem, but as I am pretty unexperienced with smart home stuff, I unfortunately have no solution to offer...

LOLO9393 is correct - with the EU ROM you will also get back the dialer and contacts app from MIUI. Just don't expect that you'll get better battery life, you won't. That's the way it is, unfortunately.

The phone gets back its identity, and is no longer wrongly called Redmi K20 pro.

happened to me, too. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it also leads to an error "could not connect to camera" afterwards. Only rebooting the phone helps. That's on raphael with 9.12.5.

also for other phones it would be great to be able to switch this off.

Not everyone is as experienced to do these things as you are. That's why we're happy to download and use the ROMs you guys are making. Maybe someone from the team could give a link to a method that we can use to change the model name by flashing a zip?
