And, by the way, a clean flash does NOT erase your data. You only lose your data if you wipe/format the data partition - which isn't needed for a clean install.

    1. I didn't start this 2. Public statements may always be publicly addressed 3. I won't write more about this off-topic subject if not necessary

I would strongly suggest against using these tools - it is always better to select the apps you want to disable or uninstall on an individual basis. Unless, of course, you have no idea what you do there. But then also the "easy" tools are dangerous to use!

They are system apps because Xiaomi has decided that way. If you don't want to use them, simply don't use them. Put them away in a folder and don't look at them. Rather, install the alternative software you want to use instead, and set the default apps accordingly. You can also disable these...

Stuck in fastboot. Empty system partition and flashing recovery fails. PLEASE HELP!

"Suum cuique" ("to each his own"), as Cicero said, but then please do yourself a favor and read the whole bible, not just "cherry-picked" sections that give you a warm feeling. I particularly suggest the instructions on how to beat your slaves so that they don't die within two days (and how to...

Right and wrong at the same time. The notifications ARE sent to the BIP, and also arrive there - but the band does not vibrate, only switches on the display light for a short time. If you check for received notifications (swipe up on the watchface), you see that they arrived. I assume that this...

QuickSnap still doesn't work on Mi 9T pro "raphael", but other than that the ROM works great so far.

    1. "no bugs at all" - forget it. There is no software of any kind that is totally bug free. Expecting this for the ROM of a mobile phone is simply ridiculous. 2. "I want the best battery life" - forget it. Battery life depends on so many factors, and the installed ROM is one of the smallest of...

Autostart permissions are ignored even in this latest ROM. Many people have been reporting this for many many versions now, but still the bug is not even acknowledged. I understand if the great EU ROM developers cannot do anything about it (maybe it is a bug in the original Chinese ROM), but...

    Known Issues (Weekly ROM)

Could you please add the "QuickSnap not working on Mi 9Tpro" to the list of confirmed bugs, @Igor Eisberg. The bug may also affect other devices, but at least for raphael it has been reported by several users here.

Don't you think people can have different taste? The "new" one is actually the old one, and Chinese beta ROM have the new one. EU ROM developers have decided to do extra work to throw out the new one and give us the "pill-shaped" one again. And NO, many people are NOT happy with this choice.

    mount /system not possible

Android 10 does not allow to mount /system read-write - that's what Google has decided. So, the only way to get things done is to do it before Android 10 is loaded - in TWRP, for example. There, you can rw-mount /system, and modify it using the TWRP built-in file manager.

    Xiaomi.eu ROM to Global ROM

Open the thread for the ROM version you want to install (currently 9.10.24), and follow the steps that are described there.

Mi 9T Pro setting ring tone for different contacts

I see. Sounds like you are not using Xiaomi.EU ROM - or maybe the stable version with Android 9 uses the Google Contact app. I remember that I also had that one on my phone when I still used the original ROM the phone came with (in the week of waiting before I could unlock...).

Mi 9T Pro setting ring tone for different contacts

It is in Contacts, go to the user you want to change, and scroll down. It is the last but one option.

Yes, you'll need root and TWRP. Replacing the phone model should be possible by editing the build.prop file in /system, but I haven't tried it yet. You'll need root for that, too.
