I noticed that, an clean install works better than update. Will confirm on Friday. I mean, its easy do full wipe cause MIUI Backup and Restore is there.

Battery drain doin just normal after, no need for full wipe. But in case if you face with drain, can't hurt to wipe cache/dalvik manually after updating. Edit: and always after updating to new ROM version, i doin full discharge and recharge.

Latest builds has some issues with battery drain. Not in my case, at least on phone idle. Lost 2hrs on normal use than before. Its good to do manual update with manual cache and system wipe. In few cases it can reduce battery drain.

Check the WhatsApp in autostart is allowed. If that doesnt work, check the app battery saver and add: set no restrictions. All items can be found in security center.

Few hours ago i just replace 3g sim card with 4g version. Will see the results(i use two sim cards). And now, the phone idle 3hrs on last 1% of battery, so i suppose there is no drain at all. Redmi Pro (3/64) 7.2.9.

If you have unlocked BL, and have TWRP already, just open Updater from screen and there you will see upper right options for Reboot to Recovery mode. If you need to flash TWRP, has explanation on #1th post. Cheers Ivan.

If someone got battery drain on update, it will be good to go in TWRP and format System/Cache partitions and flash rom manually again. Works on Redmi Pro. Unlocked BL
