Why does the performance in general like opening and closing apps, scrolling, using the UI feel laggy on the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G device. This issue was not present on the stock ROM. Also it feels like it's heating up more than stock while having worse performance.

you are not supposed to install it via MiFlash. Just open the .bat file. It will install for you

Yeah the TWRP probably had Magisk in it as the same thing happened to me. If you don't need Root you might want to install OrangeFox. It doesn't have Magisk preinstalled. Just flash the ZIP in TWRP https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/shared-recovery-unofficial-orangefox-r11-1-unofficial.4564091/

There isn't any Magisk preinstalled in any xiaomi.eu ROM. Did you by any chance install a TWRP?
