Thank you very much for your feedback about MIUI 14 on 12T Pro. I have been asking for it many times without answer. Unfortunately this 200 mp camera will be the biggest let down on this phone for future android updates, since is different from the Redmi K.

I really think that this thread needs a better explanation about how each device works, how TWRP is flashed first time, how it's updated depending on the device. I see a lot of different experiences here with a lot of good and bad results in the mix.

I did the update to TWRP A13 on my 12T Pro by flashing it in the recovery partition the available.img file. Everything is OK. Now I just have to wait for MIUI 14. Thank you all

Can you advise me the right way to update my recovery to the A13 recovery. Is it possible through the .IMG recovery file installation, in recovery partition? I really hate the CMD command method. It took me 4 hours to install :emoji_grin:

But since I have already a A12 recovery installed, can I just install the A13 recovery in .IMG format? Thank you

The change from 12.0 to 12.5 itself is not a huge leap, but the difference between MIUI Global to Xiaomi.eu is noticeable. A different dialer/messaging app, no bloatware apps, battery friendly and all the perks you see on the first page of this forum even if it is MIUI 13

Hello. I have too a Mi9, it stopped at MIUI 12.5. it's running xiaomi.eu. A great smartphone and great MIUI version. You should take a look in settings, my device and confirm which one you have, and you have to be really sure about it because as have already been told, you can brick it.

Thank you for your quick reply. But i finally got throught the issue. All the fastboot.exe, drivers are up to date BTW. After 4 hours of testing and many tries. i saw that a user from this forum had the same issue. just like i mentioned, i stoped to the point of using the old fastboot version...
