Wonder if I should wipe it and then install?

Hello, I am trying to install v.14 on top on v.12 using recovery. Phone is Mi11Ultra. Gives this error while installing, what might be the issue? Thanks!

Forgive me if it's an idiotic question, I just really don't want to screw up. I have 12s with xiaomi.eu v.13 installed, can I use recovery method to update to version 14? Thanks in advance!

Will there be a recovery versions of v.13 for Mi11 Ultra? Been using twrp and don't remember how to do it using computer Thank you!

Guys! Thanks to everyone who participated in this topic, great respect to ingbrzy for instructions! Was able to successfully flash my Ultra to 12.5.3.0 EU from 12.0.1 Global (EDL installed) using instructions on page 1. Best of luck to everyone!

Just a dumb question.. will this fastboot version be able to OTA after install to next versions in the future?

How ??? I'm on global 12.0.1 now same phone too. Really want 12.5 but don't want to brick it...again !

What version of platform tools did you use? Did you follow instructions on page 1?

I'm not certain what exactly causes this. But I was warned by Xiaomi EDL guy that I might hard brick the phone if I try to flash it again and screw up. Just passing on what he said.

If you EDL rescued your phone after this fastboot fiasco and want to flash to xiaomi.eu again I would urge you not to do it. High chances you might brick it again. Wait for new global 12.5 which might be landing at the end of the month.

No. Updated to current Chinese ROM before flashing to Xiaomi.eu

which version did you go with for global? 12.0.1? will it pass safetynet, does google -1 screen works(Discover) ? Thx!

No mine is 512 and in fastboot loop

Any combination of buttons .Volume up+power, volume down +power, volume up+ volume down + power... all end up the same - fastboot screen ;(

I'm in a pinch now! I did not click Unlock button on zipped file before unpacking. Not sure if this was the cause for my fastboot freeze or not but here I am with bricked device :(
