    Bootloader was probably re locked. That is the only reason one can't flash a rom in fastboot. They then needed to rerun the MiUlock tool and re-unlock bootloader and the use the MiFlash tool or install TWRP and flash Xiaomi.eu rom.     Perhaps you didn't understand my response, anything that is the China rom is in Xiaomi.eu. So if the Chinese are recieving the enhanced version, so is Xiaomi.eu, as the Xiaomi.eu is a modified version of the China rom.

    Then why did this work for us? Maybe it's not as necessary you think. I booted to TWRP, formated, rebooted to fastbott and rebooted TWRP, flashed the rom which installed, permanent version of TWRP.
