Seems that in fact the older versions of TWRP work. I just flashed 2873 from Team Superluminal, works fine. I could even install sMIUI. The version from sMIUI homepage did not work for me - neither recovery nor fastboot....

Maybe a bit OT but can someone recommend a real stable TWRP or even CWM for Mi4c? I tried different TWRPs from different sources but none is stable: most have an irritating touch problem: either you cannot touch at all or the screen is flickering as of it tis touched continouosly... Any advice...

Having switched from MI2s to MI4c recently, my question is why there was a "special request from several users"?

With 2.25 and 3.3 I got random losses of mobile phone signal, sometimes a reboot helps, sometimes not. Any ideas anyone? EDIT: even with last stable as well as old 1.28 I got those problems... any help highly appreciated!

I got the same problem (using Swiftkey), the stock keyboard very often comes back as standard... really annyoing...
