I had the same problem when i moved from the last KK version (5.3.27) to 5.4.17 (Lollipop). Obviously, TB cannot restore apps from KK to LP... Nova Launcher, once installed, I could easily set as standard in the settings...

Does that mean, one day one cannot easily go back to an old version of sMIUI? If so, it would be great that you indicate that once such a version comes out...

If I got sebsch correctly, he won't leave completely the Mi2s, but shifts his priorities - at least that is my hope... @sebsch: right or wrong?

Is there a digital clock widget? In the past I used the KitKat clock but the alarm function produces crashes...

Thanks for your answer... Now I'm stuck in the middle as - in general - I do like the Lollipop versions, afer all, and I do not want to downgrade to Kitkat. I'm totally convinced in your work hoping you'll find a way to fix BT... :-)

I can confirm this as I went back from 5.4.17 to 5.3.27... Full wipe is necessary. Btw, the reason for me to go back was just to test BT, but is was not better in my case. Generally speaking I do like 5.4.17....

Gave it a try today but - as very often in the past - I got BT problems... I will continue with sMIUI hoping that I will find my perfect release some day...

I do feel it is the right thread as I do not refer to weekly releases in general but those of this specific ROM, namely sMIUI.

More general question for you, Sebsch: is it really necessary to update every week? The community here appreciates your work and trusts in your expertise. Consequently, as an proposal, check the weekly Xiaomi source and decide on your own whether or not to publish a sMIUI uodate... I'd prefer...

Hmm, yes, meaning EXP = official miu.com german version (= decuro I guess) but what's then the "non" EXP version? What are the differences?

Could anybody explain in easy words how to use GPU and7or CPU limiter? Does that really affect battery time? If so, does it negatively affect the "smoothness" of our device in general?

Sorry for the stupid question but what exactly is the difference in the EXP version? (except German language)
