    If you flash new EU rom every week, without this TWRP, you need to format data everyweek and it's ...a pain in the ass....at least to me....

    That's the old one, the XDA one by notsyncing flash is ok, BUT, every time you flash a new rom, you have to factory reset because the internal can't be read due to encryption, even flashing the same rom, as Dorisnov mentioned in his post. I have reupload the new one here...

    In step 4 you did "factory reset"......what a misleading post. Yes, you can keep "internal storage data", but anyway, "factory reset" is a must for installing this rom on mix 2s, we have to install all apps again.

    This is what make me hesitate to try this new android P rom, I have heard about impossible to decrypt abdroid P internal partition with current TWRP. Don't know if we could dirty flash next version (8.9.21 for example) without wiping all data or not.

    This is obvious a "Beta" rom, just stay with the version you like. All beta things have bugs and I think you know that, why keep updating with the beta and moaning?

    Where do you change those settings? I use the "Preferred network type" to set these and I have no problem with LTE and 3G switching.

    I'm worrying more about where we could get the TWRP for android P, there're feedbacks that the current TWRP cannot decrypt android P encryption....

    If you had twrp already, you can install this rom (EU rom), no problem. I'm not sure about other rom.

    You need turn the app notification on, usually the defaut option for notification of most apps is:"let the app decide" something. I usually switch it to "urgent" for my frequently used apps.

    I use mi mix 2s, I could dirty flash from MIUI 9 8.5.17, no problem so far.
