It's not anything new... It's just mpdecision cpu hotplug with some specific settings for mi5/5s(cpu hotplug and cpu governor settings) . What it means is when your phone is in standby it will put all except one core offline, also it will gradually put online cores and boost frequency of them...

Clear cache and dalvik from twrp. Reinstall apps which crashed if needed. It can happen when ppl have very old previous version of rom on which they upgrade to newer versions or when they restore apps and settings from xiaomi local or cloud backups. Sent from my 2014813 using Tapatalk
