Hi Igor, is there other safe way to tell if a recovery rom contains arb? I saw that the developer of the tool published an update which fixes detection on recovery roms. Can you confirm it? Thanks!

Just pay attention if your phone is Global variant then flash Global rom and not China version because it will brick your phone.

Use Winrar to extract the contents of the fastboot rom - there should be several files and folders including flash all bat after decompression. Also rename the downloaded file to something shorter before unzipping it.

Put the extracted files of the fastboot rom in a directory such as C:/Rom/contents of the extracted fastboot rom or D:/Rom/.... - the path should be not too long.

Download Aida64 from Google paly store and in System section it will show the codename of the device you own. The accessories should fit - check gsmarena for the exact dimensions of the two models but I think they are the same.

The thing is that even on unlocked bootloader the phone will be bricked if the Arb is triggered and won't be recovered easily. From what I've read I think that you will not brick your phone if you flash back to versions that have the same arb number. If Arb is introduced e.g. in version 8.6.7...
