Yes, only flash rom file on external SD card after re-partition. The final step of re-partition will format /system & /data, internal storage space (internal SD) is blank then... Backup your data on internal storage before re-partition.

Official Miui8 system size is around 78xMB,which can fit into original 800MB partition. For EU Ver. MiUi8, system size is 817MB due to multi language added......which cannot fit into stock default 800MB system partition.
