I had same issue on the first Android 9 version for Mi6 (9.4.18, if I remember good). Starting from next updates, problem has been fixed automatically (no need to edit files or other)

thanks for your test and feedback. damn... "a complete new installation with the latest china Developer MI Flash ROM and then again switch to eu ROM" a very expensive work for a small problem. I'm quite sure it's the best try, but sincerely at the moment I have no time to do all this work...

did you install with dirty flash or clean install? A clean install MAYBE will solve, but I have no way to test.

Mi6, clean install android pie: I've an issue with Netflix app: every time I open the app, it ask me the profile I want use for the app. Never happened before, with Android 8. I found a workaround: lock the app to prevent to be killed by system... But it's not a good solution imho. Any idea?
