Did you try to clear play services and store data after removing the account?

Turn off time 5.00 and turn on 5.01? That`s not supposed to work I think, did you try to set several hours between the both?

Had similar problem on MS account. The fix for me was to remove the account completely from the device including authenticator and adding again as new account. Try to remove all info related to google account, reboot, add it again and see if this helps

One step every time, the devs probably managed to turn off one color on the presumed "not RGB" LED thus enabling the above combinations(yellow is red+green, violet=red+blue, magenta=blue+green), hopefully in the next version they will find a way to code only a single primary color

Similar experience on my Mi5, disabled already several times. Maybe it enables itself after restart, checked now still disabled from yesterday without restart. It`s especially annoying as I do not need it at all and can`t remove

China beta 7.9.8 is released officially for Mi5. On en.miui.com users are advised to install this version in order to keep button settings. Will we get it here?

Thanks but I do not root my phones Managed to restore GPS functionality today by turning location services completely off, reboot and switch location on again. There was Google's prompt to allow faster/better positioning and when granted GPS works fine again. 1-2 seconds until fix

No GPS fix in Mi5 no matter what I do on this weekly. Tested with waze, here and google maps, in HW tests satellite count stays 0 forever. Never had GPS issues before in any MIUI 8 or MIUI 9 except the last beta, wasn`t it supposed to fix GPS? Is anyone else having similar problem?
