@graw2 Follow up After fastboot clean flash and reflashed twrp and 7.2.23 tried the updater route again. This time the phone reboots to twrp without decrypt, still reaches the main twrp screen without flash, had to manually flash 7.2.24

If you have Lineage you have N compatible firmware, you can go to last MIUI version

From what I know SD 801 is not supported officially in N so the answer is probably no with MIUI You can always try lineage(7.1.1)

I would disagree totally, the last 2 roms 7.2.16 and 7.2.23/24 are by much the best ever for Mi5. The GPS fixes instantly and the phone`s performance is excellent. I recommend it to all BTW did you install it properly if coming from M?

The build is good on Mi5, still I`ve encountered the "performance FC" described as reason for delay in official release. After boot the device had very slow response and sometimes stutter but after several minutes all returned to smooth similar to the previous weekly

Thanks, switched off. Still this is ad service build within the system and on by default. Will have to look for similar setting in every app

@ingbrzy Do you now something new about Google`s certification policy? Noticed strange thing on Mi4: certified device on Lineage OS and open gapps but uncertified again on your today`s build of MIUI 8.3 beta, same play store build

What do you think about this? Ads injected within downloads system app. Am I wrong or we are supposed to have ad free system apps?

Still not working on my Mi5 64gb, did a clean flash of previous build as @graw2 suggested but again after short decrypt and reboot the phone enters TWRP`s main screen without flash, the file itself appears corrupted and redownload is needed

It should work if you previously unlocked the bootloader, if this is the first time you are trying to unlock I strongly doubt it will succeed on xiaomi.eu, flashing official rom might be needed. The easiest way to flash official with locked BL is in EDL mode with mi flash, PM me if you need...

Don`t know what is going on with Mi4c Strange things are happening with Mi unlock, I have never enabled find device and unlocked every phone on first attempt

After unlocking several different phones there is no need to enable "find device", 2 actions are mandatory: enable oem unlock and in unlock status associate the device with your account. Both are in developers settings and when enabled the device can be unlocked instantly

That`s a long existing Viber related bug, the only solution I`ve found is to send the image from within Viber
