We already have a thread for this in the mix2s forum. It is NOT working on any other rom than global official and with XA model. No Problem of the eu rom, the problem also exists in the betas or chinese version from miui itself

Official Rom with newest OTA. 9.5.19 and for a few days the newest with 21 in the end i think. For Google pay ... To be honest No Idea, Just the Version from playstore. If i can Help because i can build Up a working Setup, No Problem i am glad If i can help

I wouldn´t say that, they are doing a good job and also fix stuff xiaomi doesn´t. Stay tuned and wait a bit ;-)

The problem is just indirect within the eu rom. It occurs because they are using the chinese beta version. I don´t think it will be fixed without xiaomi fixing it in their code.

The problem also exists on the global model. I have it and it was not working for me in eu rom. Now back to stock, everything is working. So it has to be the chinese developer rom/eu rom.
