Did you installed camera2api plugin with Magisk, or did you manually add a line in the build.prop? At the Redmi 4x with camera2api there is the "bug" with "can't connect to camera". Remove the Modul or the line in build.prop for working HDR-Mode

Your device Redmi 5+? Is it planned to integrate full screen gestures for mido too?

I had similar problems a few releases before. Uninstall Magisk with zip. And install Magisk V14 zip. That was working for me. Adaway works. After working adaway I was able to update Magisk without any problems with adaway. My devices: mido & santoni

I had same issue. I have uninstalled Magisk (with uninstaller zip) and flashed Magisk V14. After that, adaway works again. Now you can update Magisk to latest (afaik V15.2?) Version and adaway keeps working.

Also on my Redmi 4X. Issue in TWRP? But my Redmi 4X saves settings (Timezone etc.) in TWRP. My mido Redmi Note 4 loses these settings every single boot in Recovery. Restart to system also on mido.
