Aaaah, I want this! [emoji23]
@devs: is it possible that you activate this studio lightning feature also for other phones than mi mix 2s? I'd donate to get this activated on my mi6 [emoji39]

The xiaomi.eu developers confirmed already in this thread, that they will change the volume control back to the miui9 handling in the next release. (Thanks again, devs, for hearing and reacting ;-) )

There is an overview at the homepage about whats better in the xiaomi.eu rom. Generelly thry enhance the rom for europe and enable more features for every device (please have a look on their detailed explanation about the difference).
Eg I have the Mi6 - there is neither an option for faceunlock...
The basis for the xiaomi.eu rom is the official china dev rom. But at the end of the day, the xiaomi.eu is a customs rom and you need twrp and an open bootloader to flash it and you won't get ota updates atm.

You will get OTA updates for both official roms.
But you will not get ota updates for custom roms like the xiaomi.eu custom rom.

I had the same issue. You have to delete all cookies and website data in the browser app, then it's working again.
You don't need to delete saved passwords too - only cookie and website data, so you should not loose any data ;)

I had this issue with TWO Mi5. A yellow stripe on the left site in the middle. very annoying...
There were many Mi5 users facing this issue - may be related to a heat point under the screen but nobody in the forums was able to point the cause of the issue.
It's not really a "burn in" like on...
I never received OTA updates from Miui 10 on my Mi6 - I just download the ROM and install it using the updater-app ("manually choose update file" - confirm - reboot - finished. No data loss, no problems so far.)
If you already have installed a xiaomi.eu ROM it may work doing a "dirty" flash.
If you are coming from an official ROM, you have to press "format data" in TWRP (if you get asked, if you are sure to do this, you are on the right way ;)
It only worked for me, when doing the "format data" part...
